Helping us help others
As a not-for-profit hospital and nursing home, Saint Joseph’s depends on donations from its community, including grateful patients, neighbors, businesses and other friends, to provide the added support to stay in the forefront of health care. Donations help us to purchase new equipment and expand programs and services to meet the health care needs of our community.
Donations may be made in the form of cash, check, credit card, real estate or insurance policies. They can be made in memory of, or in honor of a family member or friend. Donors can also remember Saint Joseph’s in their wills.
Every donation, regardless of its size, contributes to the continued health and well being of Saint Joseph’s and our community. To learn more about making a gift to Saint Joseph’s, call the Department of Public Relations & Development at (914) 378-7534.
Volunteers
Volunteers of all ages and walks of life - both men and women - assist the staff throughout the hospital, nursing home and our off-site outpatient programs, some in patient areas and others behind the scenes. Volunteers provide a variety of services to augment the staff, including circulating books and magazines, assisting office staff and helping at the Gift Shop and Front Desk.
If you have some time to give, you too can help make a difference to our patients and nursing home residents and their families and experience the rewards of volunteering. Volunteers ages 14 - 18 are welcome to join our Junior Volunteer Program. For additional information about volunteering at Saint Joseph’s, call (914) 378-7536.
