Radiologic technology is the art and science of utilizing radiation to produce diagnostic images of the tissues, bones, organs and vessels of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.Images may be recorded on film or viewed digitally on a video monitor. The radiographer is an essential member of the health care team and is responsible for producing quality diagnostic images through accurate positioning, radiation protection and quality patient care. The Program consists of a selective curriculum designed to educate and train students in the art and science of diagnostic radiologic technology.
