Saint Joseph’s Medical Center is a Catholic healthcare facility, sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul of New York. We strive for excellence in healthcare in an atmosphere of support and shared ministry.

Our Heritage

The Sisters of Charity, through their sponsorship of healthcare facilities, participate in the mission of the Catholic Church in the spirit of Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, who reached out to all in need, especially the poor, regardless of race or creed. Following their example, the Sisters of Charity provide leadership in healthcare services in an atmosphere of Christian concern in an environment which reflects the teachings of Christ.
