Health Care Plan Participation
You may obtain a list of health care plans with which Saint Joseph’s Medical Center is a participating provider. The list is subject to change as contracts expire or their terms are revised. Not all of the plans offered by a particular insurer may be accepted by the hospital. The insurers listed below have agreements covering hospital services, but these insurer agreements with Saint Joseph’s Medical Center may not apply to all hospital and physician services. Standard Hospital Charges
For inquiries regarding standard hospital charges for services and items provided by Saint Joseph’s Medical Center that may not be covered by a patient’s specific health care plan, please call the Finance Department at (914) 378-8597.
A schedule of fees for health care services provided or anticipated to be provided to the patient or prospective patient absent unforeseen medical circumstances that may arise when the health care services are provided, is available upon receipt of a request.
Please be aware that:
- Certain physician services (such as anesthesiology, pathology, radiology, or emergency) provided in the hospital are not included in the hospital’s charges and may be separately billable by the physician or group;
- Physicians who provide services in the hospital may or may not participate with the same health care plans as the hospital; and
- The prospective patient should check with the physician arranging for the hospital services to determine the health care plans in which the physician participates.
Physician Groups and Physicians
Saint Joseph's contracts with some physician groups who may provide various services such as anesthesiology, pathology, radiology, or emergency services. Financial Aid / Charity Care
