Saint Joseph's makes provisions for family medical leaves, and professional or unpaid leaves of absence. All leaves of absence are subject to state and federal law, including the family and medical leave act of 1993. All leaves must comply with the rules of the American Board of Family Medicine and may require their approval.
Saint Joseph's does not provide living accommodations for residents, but the Department of Family Medicine does assist residents in locating suitable housing. Scrubs and white coats are provided to residents. Meal tickets for cafeteria are provided.
