Biography

Dr. Rose’s commitment to providing  first-class orthopedic care is recognized across the community, as well as by his medical peers and civic and health care leaders. He is a recipient of the New York State Liberty Award, New York State Senatorial Award, and New York City Proclamation. Dr. Rose also received the 2012 Peer to Peer Award for Excellence in Medicine for Bronx County, a 2008 Patients’ Choice Award, and was named a Who’s Who Top Doctor in 2013.

Dr. Rose graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Long Island University’s CW Post College and attended Rutgers University Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, to complete his medical degree. Dr. Rose undertook a surgical internship through a Cornell University program at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, and his orthopedic residency and fellowship at New York Medical College and affiliated hospitals in New York.

Dr. Rose is currently chief of the department of orthopedic surgery at Saint Joseph's and has been a New York City police surgeon since 1997. Dr. Rose is a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.
