The Maxwell Institute offers free presentations to schools, colleges and community organizations on topics such as:

Bullying
Alcohol/drug use and health decisions
Dangers of marijuana
Small group "Cottage Talks"
Opioid epidemic
Vaping
Training in the use of opioid overdose rescue kits
Parenting skills

Free Virtual Trainings in Use of Naloxone Overdose Rescue Kit

We offer free virtual training (via Zoom) in the use of Naloxone Overdose Rescue Kits on the third Thursday of the month beginning at 6:30 p.m. The trainings are conducted by Lillian Neuman, CASAC, Director of Community Outreach and Prevention Education.

Registration is required; email Susan Salamone at ssal@drugcrisisinourbackyard.com to sign up. Training participants will receive a kit via mail following the training.
